Who we are
PulseGrid provides live heart-rate tools for group fitness. The operator of this site is identified on your contract or invoice. For privacy enquiries contact the address shown on Help & support or your account email.
What we collect
- Marketing forms — name, email, organisation, and message when you contact us or start checkout.
- Trainer accounts — gym details, owner email, billing via Stripe, and class/session data you generate.
- Class members — display names and heart-rate metrics during sessions (stored per gym). Members do not need a password.
- Support — issue reports and optional group codes.
Cookies & local storage
We use:
- Essential — sign-in sessions, trainer security, theme preference, group-code memory, and your cookie consent choice. These are required for the service to work.
- Analytics (optional) — only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner. We use free privacy-oriented tools: Cloudflare Web Analytics (no advertising cookies) or Google Analytics 4. No advertising cookies are set by PulseGrid.
- Email — service emails (billing, sign-in, class reports) are sent when needed to run your account. Marketing class invites include an unsubscribe link in every message; you can also use email preferences.
Lawful bases (UK / EU GDPR)
- Contract — running your trainer account and classes you pay for.
- Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, spam protection, and service security.
- Consent — optional analytics cookies and marketing where required.
Processors & transfers
We use subprocessors including hosting, Stripe (payments), SMTP2GO (email), Cloudflare (security / Turnstile on forms), and optional analytics providers. Data may be processed outside your country where those providers operate; we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those services.
Retention
Enquiries and support tickets are kept while we handle your request and for reasonable business records. Session history is kept per gym account settings. You may request deletion of marketing data or a gym account via support.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, or port personal data, and to withdraw consent for analytics. Contact us via Help. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Spam protection
Public forms use honeypot fields, timing checks, and optional Cloudflare Turnstile. Automated submissions are discarded without notice.
